A community-based, professional sports team was looking for ways to reduce operating expenses, improve lead times and reduce shipping charges.

SITUATION

The customer was sending business outside of the county for commodity products. Shipping charges were forcing the customer in to longer than normal lead times. The customer was looking to align its supplier partners with its community-based initiatives.

SOLUTION

We offered local service, quick order turn around and easy access to inventory as a better solution. The customer took comfort in knowing we were a call away and was willing to keep their business local. We worked together to create a bundle of products that allowed the customer to achieve lower unit pricing. Having the option to visit our local store and pick up products at a moment’s notice was an added benefit.
